RE: Vijay's Theri - ulagalocaltharaticket reviled
The big announcement this past week was the title of Vijay's under production 59th film with young director Atlee. The title Theri became viral instantly and attracted the attention of a large section of viewers and of course fans of the star.
Ilayathalapathy Vijay's films generally have such short disyllabic, trisyllabic titles which are a big factor in his films catching on with a large section of the film going audience in all centers, particularly young impressionable kids.
Starting from Kushi, Ghilli, Aadhi, Kuruvi, Villu, Sura to his recent titles like Jilla, Kaththi, Puli and Theri, it looks like this short and catchy title trend is here to stay in most of Vijay's films.
The shoot of the Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer Theri is happening in Goa, as reported earlier. The team is now busy canning stunt sequences under the supervision of trained stunt masters from abroad. This is what DoP George C Williams had to say about the experience in his FB post,
"#THERI awesum action sequences being filmed with TG3K drone and Movi 15 team from Bulgaria. Action by Dhilip Subbarayan & Kalo (Mission Impossible 5). Great learning and awesum experience. #THERI Atlee Kumar"
Atlee had recently commented that Vijay would be playing an emotional cop in this film targeted at the family audiences. Quite a lot to look forward to, indeed.
