Nellore: Police officials in Nellore allowed the screening of Kamal Haasan film, Viswaroopam after a team of senior officials saw the film during a special screening on Friday afternoon.
At the instance of the SP, B.V. Ramana Kumar, additional SPs, L.T. Chandrasekhar, A.C. Nageswar Rao, town DSP, Venkatanadha Reddy, CIs, K.V. Rathnam and Maddi Srinivasa Rao have seen the film and gave a clean chit.
They have decided to permit the screening to public as there were no scenes that affect the sentiments of any community in the film. Nellore SP, Ramana Kumar said that they have objected for the screening of the film in the morning to prevent any untoward incidents and cleared it for screening from evening show after their officers approved the film.
The film was released at S-2 cinema and Narthaki theatre in Nellore.
