Breaking W.e.f 1st April 2018, Star Network Channels will be removed from base pack

Star saying Airtel Lying. But what about Siti cable, Dishtv, Videocon. Some month ago when Siti cable remove Star Channels, they also claim that Star demand extra money.
One operator may be wrong, but not all.

Just now I saw Star plus twitter page #maketheswitch campaign video's comments. Someone fully copy my comment. Now a days comments also copied.

First impression looking at the ad is everything might be an April Fool move by Star-Airtel.

On the other hand If it's very serious move then we may forget atleast for a month or two for star channels restore

It can't be an april fool in any case because if u first scroll that channels are removed w.e.f 1st april then there is danger that some subscribers will change their dth before waiting for 1st April (chances are more high due to IPL)
And at the end u will say April fool but those subscriber may not come back so at the end you(the dth company) will be fool to do that:tongue:

The DTHs they are showing in Ads are Tata sky and Sun Direct only...
No dish tv Videocon...

Star should learn that this is not a switching game...They are thinking that customers will jump from one DTH to another for specific channel..
Then customers will have only time for that...From airtel to Dish d2h etc...As they will send notice to most DTHs...

Everyone in India will not be changing the DTH for a channel...If they need Star sports then they will activate it without Making a switch...

@Vishnu777 Unless Airtel Adds Zee Network South HDS,Sun Network South HDS and Viacom18 Tamil & Music HDS, Airtel is in a huge trouble.

Zee HD Channels might be coming soon as well as viacom but Sun & Star along With Tata Sky ready to capitalise on this fully.

Even without this Star Removal from packs already there is a steady migration to TS & SD.
