It's just my opinion...
I think it is a case of make hay as the sunshines strategy by Star...
They wanna poach as many customers(US) from airtel DTH now (before IPL.)
They will also want the sizeable airtel customer base to view IPL just to make more money via advertisements..
I Personally feel Star actions are despicable

One big prayer. SPN needs to win telecast rights for BCCI.

You are right. This is what I was thinking yesterday when watching an AD on Sony on their upcoming telecast this year and was quite surprised to see that they got rights for England cricket too apart from Australia cricket.

In cricket, I guess star are now only left with IPL and BCCI rights. Having bid such huge price for IPL rights, I suppose the other networks might be able to bid and get BCCI rights which is also ending very soon.

I have a silly question, what is this bcci rights and how does it help

Guys!

An Authentic Report Says Airtel Is The Culprit Due To Certain Conditions With A Different Broadcaster!

So Now Its All Yours To Shoot Mails / Calls To Airtel

Most won't mail as Star doesn't know how to value customers & operators.

Star Monopoly on Indian Soil might end with this Airtel vs Star Tussle and Lets allow that purely Indian Broadcaster to grow.
