Some time usb is not detected in tata play binge box for then we need to enable developer option and need to turn on usb option. After than we can able to use external storage and we can convert external to internal storage. After conversion with use of send to tv app we can tranfer larger movies to the box and watch it from vlc or mx player. Its very useful feature for me.

I think it will work.
I just insert pendrive and format once to convert it as internal storage
