This is v.good for sony. They never had success in terms of fiction launches in past few years. Hoping it would be able to retain these ratings. Also making the show tv exclusive helped them! Bad strategy but good for them.

These ratings are cooked up by paying money,Srimad Ramayan rating is 9.1 in IMBD,and Anupama are just 4.0,just type serial name and imbd in google,you will get these rating,these ratings are given by people like you and me,not by any agency

I don't think so. There's absolutely no correlation between IMDB ratings and TRP.

If they were manipulating ratings, we would've seen similar reflection in social media. For example SP shows like Anupama, YRKKH, GHKPM or even bhagyas from Zee or Bigg boss from colors have a lot of following online too, same goes for joke or mimic reels made on them. They're huge.

On the other hand, IMDB ratings are from people sheer based on story, acting, etc. now we all know these daily soaps have sh#tty story and that's why IMDb ratings are less.
