The TVT ratings for Week 40 are out. As per TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 40 (September 29 – October 05) for CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus stayed on top with gross TVT of 502 million and relative share of 20.78 per cent (Last week: 506 million TVTs with 21.75 per cent relative share).

Colors claimed second spot with 476 million TVTs and relative share of 19.72 per cent (Last week: 458 million TVTs with 19.69 per cent relative share). Colors had launched its highly-awaited show 24 this weekend. The show garnered 3134 TVTs.
Zee TV garnered 416 million gross TVT with 17.22 per cent of relative share. The channel had 384 million TVTs with relative share of 16.5 per cent in Week 39.
The surprise element was Life OK. The channel came up to the fourth position with gross TVT of 347 million and relative share of 14.39 per cent (Last week 339 million TVTs and relative share of 14.36 per cent).
Sony TV on the other hand gained viewership and came at fifth place. The channel recorded gross TVT of 323 million with 13.39 per cent relative share (Last week: 286 million TVTs with 12.29 per cent relative share).
Sab TV was at number 6. The channel recorded 317 million TVTs and 13.14 per cent relative share (Last week: 332 million TVTs and 14.25 per cent relative share).
Sahara One’s viewership was at 33 million TVTs with 1.38 per cent relative share (Last week: 27 million TVTs and 1.15 per cent relative share).
