NDTV in regional languages;
SUN network Bangla kids and movie channel
Malayalam movie channel from ZEE
A good content channel in Urdu, Maithili, Konkani, Meitei (Manipuri).
An English Language Content Channel from SONY PN with Indian English spoken shows, showcasing Indian stories but in English (like the Bengali Night starring Supriya Pathak and Hugh Grant). The reason being I get more comfortable with Indian English accent and focused on Indian base stories. Shows can be weekly.

I want the old Star News back on air. It was the first news channel broadcast from India. (Yes. The claim made by Zee News calling themselves as the first news of India is false. Star News launched much before Zee News). Besides it had an unbiased approach towards news.

zee claims are right... star before was beamed from Singapore so technically star ndtv collaboration news channels was not uplinked from India it was downlinked in India
