SES 9 is gonna launch in 2015. Airtel soon faces space crunch and for that time to meet the customers demand they might hire it for a year time.. That is why I asked.

nss 6 has been shut down in 2009 because it launch in 2006 and its period is 15 years

Sorry i meant from Insat 4cr to Ses 7

:shy

The simple answer is.. Yes, you can use a monoblock LNB to capture signals from 2 satellites on same dish if Airtel broadcasts on both of them.

Cannot give deeper technical details, but depending on the type of LNB you can configure it to satellites separated by some x degrees only specified by the LNB.

Why I have to take a dish connection?
My simple question is, If Airtel buys Tp on SES8 as well can the customers get signals from both The sats using mono block lnb.??

Thanks. Then there will be a chance Airtel will hire Tp until SES9 launches.

This way they will meat the requirement of their customers... :-):-):-):-)
