Can you please suggest DTH with following requirements at Bangalore? Can someone please comment on how SUNDirect quality in Bangalore? Also, your experiences of DTH performance during recent rains will be appreciated.

Requirements:
Tamil Channels
English
Kids channels (CN, POGO ...etc...)
Sports (whenever needed)
HD is preferred.

I am from Bangalore(Koramangala) and using Airtel DTH since July and DishTV since 2007.
I prefer Airtel, only once or twice i faced the signal issue(rainy evening). Better than DishTV.
Channels packages-HD channel options are really good.
2HD, 7HD , 11HD, 19HD, 22HD packs are available. Other than this you can choose single single HD channels also. These options are missing in D2H or Sun direct.

Dont know much about Tamil channels, as i never see, But for your all other requirements [English, Kids channels (CN, POGO ...etc...) , Sports (whenever needed) and HD channels , Customer support, Package options, Self care]
Airtel is best.

D2h is also best but its PQ and AQ is not as superior to airtel
