Hi All,

I want run 2 STBs from one LNB,so which of the above is a better option and why ?

Any one using either of the above please share your experiences.

Thanks

using dual port... u need to 2 cable wired...but signals will be fine in both.

using splitter... 1 wire, but signal reduces drastically. :k

so unless it isnt dth signals, dont go for splitters :no
bcoz other satellite signals arent that powerful, and u may loose few tps.. using a splitter.

Yes I will be using 2 cables from 2 STBs.

By the way are you or any one known to you using a Dual port LNB ?

I have used previously, but not using currently.

Can the Dual port LNB be used for DishTV HD connections also from a single satellite ie NSS 6 ?

OK,

How was the experience ?

Is there any significant signal loss on both ports ?

Not much, i have used D2H DVR with dual port LNB manufactured by Sharp brand. While Tata Sky had gave me Inverto LNB with quad ports for 2 Tata Sky DVR multiTV Connection.

Sharp was average while Inverto quad LNB gave almost full signal on every tuners.

Please find the picture of the LNB below:

Why not? Unless you want AS5 sat signals, there is no need of Monobloc LNB.. :k

Thanks for the info.

By the way one seller from Gujrat on eBay is selling Dual port LNB with that same rt symbol for about Rs 500.

Does rt symbol mean inverto or is it the symbol of the brand ?

If I get a proper Dual port LNB then that will leave me with a spare dish on the terrace which I will try directing towards Yahsat.

First of all, avoid quoting images. I have told you many times. It looks like double post.

RT is inverto logo symbol, check their website: Inverto - Home
