Why Bollywood HD movies not showing in 16:9 Aspect Ratio

Sanjay is absolutely correct. The sides of the frames( shot in 2.35:1 ratio) have to be chopped off to fill the 16:9 screen

Yes Shiwesh! Anyhow, there is a black bar at the top and bottom in in 16:9 LED TVs. I think Hindi HD movies are more wider than English HD movies

Nah English movies are filmed in CinemaScope widescreen or imax and those are both bigger than 16:9 the only thing that’s 16:9 here in the states are tv shows and soap operas.
