Discussion Why Sun Network HD channels still looks Upscaled one not as a Real HD Channels?

Not Zee. Not a single regional HD channel has Dolby.

@niyasmkkv Asianet is Star, not Zee. All 8 Star regional HD channels have Dolby Digital PLUS (7.1), not just 5.1. Zee regional HD channels have NO Dolby.

From what I know only movies are like upscaled HD that too only old movies. Because both SD and HD are simulcast. There is not much HD movies to run a 24*7 movie channel. Zee and Star often repeat movies but Sun don't(atleast two months gap for an average movie). As for theme,Surya TV has best graphics among Sun channels. Sun Music graphics has to be worst.

No bro, they have both SD and HD feeds but most of the times SD channel also transmitted with downscaled HD content.

@Scofield I don't think a single Sun channel has anything called 'theme' or 'graphics'. If you have seen Star Vijay, Star Maa or Asianet, or even Zee Tamil, the way the program name comes onto the screen at the end of a trailer has a special style. I have never seen anything like this from Sun.

Yes most Sun channels don't have one. But you can see it in Surya some Maroon with gold stuff. And Sun Music with MS Paint thing especially before some program starts and lower left corner when song is airing.

No bro both are different, when ad break starts for first few minutes HD showing different ad and sd channel showing different ad. Why sd channels looks like downscaled feed of HD is sun started streaming most of the channels in 16:9
