Somewhat true, but the overall reach and net profit of zee tamil is much higher than zee telugu,so only they want to start 1st regional hd channel from their network in tamil.

Generally any company compare their profits with respective languages only but not with other languages.if we take Zee Tamil channel it may not get as much profit as Zee Hindi channels it doesn't mean that they will not launch Tamil HD channel??
Any company will see the local scenarios and the local competitors.But For launching Telugu channel they will not see the Tamil profits.

Actually Their First Importance Is For Zee Telugu Only Because Which Gives Tough Competition To Maa & Gemini And Have Good Movies Collection Too

Instead of a HD channel if ZEE can start a second channel primarily for movies or a second entertainment channel then it could generate good revenue as even with close to 80 tamil channels already in active service new and new channels are emerging every now and then which proves the market size and market value.
