From today, two of the largest media companies in India and Asia are united as one. We really hope that, with the power of strong leadership and global expertise, Zee and Sony take the Indian media sector to new heights, and deliver value to consumers with both content and pricing. Congratulations to the new couple!*

*Suna-suna sa lag raha hai na? (Didn’t we hear this line two weeks ago?)

Oh...Finally....At least Some Interesting in the Year End and in the Coming New Year.
Now awaiting the Press Meet or Press Release for the Confirmation. Also Eyes on "Zee Business" Channel for further Announcement / Development News.

Especially keeping Finger Crossed for the "Hindi Movie Cluster" where this Merger will or should Boost Sony for more Upgradation to their Bollywood Library - More Variety on "Sony Max" + "Sony Max 2" to deliver Good Movies with Value Pricing. Hope "&xplor HD" will get proper distribution now.

Though it's obvious that both Zee and Sony will run their Channels as Separate Entity with more focusing on Library Sharing (Just like UTV Movie Channels & Star Movie Channels) but expecting a New Gateway will open for Subscribers to Cheer on not only on Movies but on "Sports" Cluster also.

Gearing Up for the Next Action..........

I think today after the board meeting big announcement will happen zee is strong in movie contents and Sony is strong in GEC as well as sports contents both will get lots of benefits from each other it is like dream come true. A big competitor is on the way for Disney-Star and Viacom18.
