Sony zee merger is problematic for small networks like goldmines, b4u & others, even sun to some extent

Goldmines Network is competing with all big network combined and today content is king not quantity.

Not only small it's problematic for big players like star and colors also

ZEE already having huge number of channels still it's not performing well. So number of channels doesn't matter if what you are offering is good.

What about future, from next year sony, colors, star are planning to produce more south movies, zee is already successful in south film industry. Do you think these big broadcasters will let goldmines dub their movie?
Goldmines is looking good only for now because they have many pending movies from past years, in future things will change with entry of big broadcasters into south film industry.
For example vikram which was supposed to go to goldmines initially, but star acquired all language rights. Same case with major, if sony is not co producer, it could be goldmines dubbed.
Talking about competition with big network, a movie channel is not enough, first let them launch a gec & compete, gec & sports channels are important for getting ads in good rate
