Subhash Chandra, the chairman of Indian conglomerate Essel Group, is set to launch his show on Zee Network's Hindi news channel, Zee News.
Titled 'Dr Subhash Chandra Show', the show will air every Saturday at 10 pm and Sunday at 11 am.
Dr Subhash Chandra Show, which is Chandra's first as an anchor, will feature him speaking to the youth, inspiring them by giving them ideas about leadership and entrepreneurship.
The channel has launched a promo TVC that acknowledges Chandra as the father of television and the one who is coming to give ideas to the youth.
As per the recent media reports, Chandra has announced his interest in politics and he is likely to contest the upcoming assembly polls from Haryana.
For the record, in 1992, Chandra launched the country's first satellite television channel Zee TV and later the first private news channel, Zee News.
His business interests also include a newspaper chain (DNA), cable systems (Wire and Wireless), direct-to-home (Dish TV), theme parks (EsselWorld and Water Kingdom), online gaming (Playwin), education (Zee Learn), flexible packaging (Essel Propack), infrastructure development (Essel Infraprojects), family entertainment centres (Fun Cinemas), precious metals (Shirpur Gold Refinery) and healthy lifestyle and wellness (Veria Living).
