Zindagi to launch new show,undertakes social initiative

Zindagi is set to unveil another new
show ‘Mera Saaya’ on 3 December. Besides, the
channel is also engaging in a social cause and
undertaking a unique initiative for the same
starting today.

‘Mera Saaya’ explores the unconventional topic
of whether there is any right age to be pregnant
and what happens when a 50-year-old woman
announces her pregnancy.

For the show, the channel quizzed youngsters
from different cities to share their first thoughts
on discovering that their mother was pregnant at
the age of 50. Quite unsurprisingly, the question
elicited shocking reactions.

This sensitive subject is the core of the show
which will air at 8:55 pm. It presents the story of
a 50-year-old married woman with two children,
one married and the other eligible for marriage.
The story deals with the psychological trials and
tribulations she goes through when she finds out
about her pregnancy. The drama showcases how
the peace and tranquillity of a happy family is
destroyed with the arrival of a new-born girl in
the family.

The show stars veteran actor Rubina Ashraf and
Waseem Abbas in pivotal roles.
