Hello friends wat happened? In 99+40=139 We can get all Tamil channels. But in 99 we can get 15+ Tamil channels. Then how it'll be costlier? In 220 pack we can get 34 Tamil channels + 7 sports + 4 english movie channels + cn and pogo also

Bro, I agree that Zing is not costlier. But expecting some additional Tamil channels.

Not all channels bro.. There are many more Tamil channels. And the last 4 channels that I mentioned as optional are not at all popular. But, for me, I am watching the rest of the channels in my list whenever I am going to my native via local cable to watch news and songs.

as a tamil nadu dishtv user, i felt i m being deceived in the name of zing digital.

dish tv users will b deprived of all the channels which ll b available in zing but not in dish tv, though despite a sister wing of the parent company.

Zing is already running in Odisha, Maharashtra, Andhra/Telengana etc.

Dish TV users can also get these more channels. But the packages are different for them. The reason is that in Dish TV we have a South package and it is common for all 4 south state.

But in Zing, we will have a separate package for Tamil Nadu and Andhra/Telengana based on language. Due to this the packaging cost is becoming lesser.

Zing's lowest pack will not include more channels from other genres (if I am correct).

but again one have to purchase stb n all those still being a part of a parent company.

every dth company launches new packs almost every year, can't dishtv do it in the same manner so that an old customer of the company won't pay anything more.

now a customer ll purchase a new connection if he wants to save more money, so wat is the need of that?

Yes, I was wrong and they are providing 1 free regional pack for South packs.

But for your answer, we should contact ZEEL and ask them the reason for bringing a new brand instead of new package bro!

Comparing Zing, D2H is not having the below channels.

Chithiram (exclusive in Zing and Dish TV)


But comparing D2H, Zing/Dish is missing the below channels.

Sun Life


D2H is not missing any important channel comparing Zing except News 7 Tami.
But Zing is missing 2 important channels.

When their motto is to cater more regional contents, then missing important channels is not good. We are not expecting only these two channels in Zing. But also some of the below channels.

Raj Musix
Mega Musiq
Mega 24
Moon TV

If they are adding the above channels, then I will definitely install Zing at my home in addition to my D2H connection.

Yes, they can remove the ROI channels and use the space for these tamil channels and they will be an excellent alternative for Chennai Analogue users as already many are paying Rs 120 for mere 40 channels.
