DTH operator d2h is going to next week change the logical channel numbers of some Zee channels. The LCNs of 5 Zee channels will be changing from October 15. Dealers have been informed beforehand of the change.
Zee Salaam, Zee Tamil, Zee Keralam, Zee ETC Bollywood and Zee News are the five Zee channels undergoing LCN change next week. Zee Tamil will move from LCN 547 to LCN 544. Zee Salaam will move from LCN 794 to LCN 787. Zee Keralam will move from LCN 606 to LCN 604.
Zee News will move from LCN 307 to LCN 302. Zee ETC Bollywood will move from LCN 289 to LCN 274. All channels will be getting a higher placed LCN next week. The change of LCNs signal the signing of a new RIO between Zee Entertainment and d2h.
The new placement of Zee Tamil will place it in Slab 2 for LCN incentives. Currently, it is placed out of both slabs. Zee Salaam will now be in Slab 1 as opposed to earlier when it was out of both slabs. Zee Keralam’s new LCN will take it from Slab 2 to Slab 1.
Zee News new LCN will take it from Slab 2 to Slab 1. Zee ETC Bollywood new LCN will take it to Slab 1 as opposed to earlier when it was not in either slab. The LCN changes are happening with motive of the DPO to maximize its LCN Incentives.
