Dish TV owned DTH operator d2h on Sunday evening disabled the pack modification and left its customers without access to adding on removing channels in order to reduce traffic on their servers. The operator is also having trouble with processing recharges done by users.

An apology message was put on their app which said that the company is unable to handle the increased number of pack modification requests which are made mostly for addition of Sports channels to watch India vs Pakistan ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

In a bid to handle this, the operator removed the pack modification tool altogether which forced customers to either manage an alternative way to watch the match or miss it. Many frustrated d2h customers took to social media platforms to express their anger. Apart from the website, customer service numbers are also overloaded and users have to wait for long periods to reach a customer executive.

Due to server issues, d2h is also facing issues with processing successful recharges. Even after completing transactions, customers are not getting the recharge balance in their d2h account and are being told to wait for 24 hours or more for it to be processed.
