Dish TV owned Direct to Home (DTH) operator d2h is soon going to enhance the consumer experience for its customers with its new initiative of bringing updates on Whatsapp. The DTH operator has introduced a new Whatsapp update service.
The DTH operator has on its web site’s home page added a new banner to publicize the imminent introduction of Whatsapp update service. The banner was added on d2h’s home page last Wednesday.
DreamDTH spoke to d2h regarding the developments to gather more information on the new feature. d2h representative Sumit said, “As per the concerned team, I would like to inform you that WhatsApp Missed Service has been started from 11th Feb. You can get account related information via WhatsApp. Moreover, you can request for the same via missed call on 9781897818 from your RTN.“
d2h customers can subscribe to the new Whatsapp update service by giving a missed call from their registered mobile number on 97818-97818. d2h will be using Whatsapp to keep its customers updated with their account-related information and best offers for them through the new service.
The Whatsapp update service is however yet to start for d2h customers. Subscribers who called on the number got confirmation message from d2h on successful registration for the update service. Whatsapp update service functionality is however yet to start and is likely to be available soon. The banner on the d2h website also states that updates on Whatsapp are coming soon.
Dish TV had launched its Whatsapp update service 9 months back in May 2019 for its customers. It has finally brought the WhatsApp update service for d2h customers.
