Direct-to-Home (DTH) operators Dish TV and D2H recently started charging remote delivery charges on out-of-warranty replacement cases. The company is charging remote delivery charges on all out-of-warranty remote replacement cases where a technician visits and replaces the remote.
The delivery charge of Rs 50 will be applicable in case of a visit where the remote is out-of-warranty. The remote delivery charges of Rs 50 will be applicable on all types of remotes that are out of warranty cases. The move is effective 7th June 2022.
In other news, the Hon’ble Bombay High Court on 17th June 2022 refused the ad-interim prayers of World Crest Advisors, a promoter group entity against Catalyst Trusteeship Limited and Yes Bank Limited.
The interim application filed by World Crest in its suit had sought that Yes Bank Limited be restrained from voting at the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the company to be held on 24th June 2022 and that voting in respect of the shares be allowed to be done by World Crest pending the hearing and final disposal of the suit.
