Dish TV’s free MPEG4 box upgrade offer which was earlier available only for users in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, North East and Assam is now expanded to 8 more states including Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jammu & Kashmir.
Under this offer, subscribers can recharge for Rs 499 to upgrade their MPEG2 set-top box and will get 100% cashback of Rs 499 in their Dish TV account. The recharge needs to be done before placing a request for MPEG2 to MPEG4 box conversion.
All active users in the above-mentioned regions are eligible for this offer while deactivated customers first need to recharge and activate their accounts. Do note that users who relocated their connection to a different pin code in the last 45 days won’t get the cashback.
Set-top box, remote, HDMI or A/V cable and adapter will be provided on upgrading. Subscribers will also get 12 months warranty on the new STB, 6 months warranty on the remote, 90 days warranty on the adapter and 30 days of free service visits.
