Hits TV lands on Airtel Digital TV as a Platform Service channel

Rewind Networks owned Asian classic TV channel ‘Hits’ has been launched on India’s second-largest DTH operator Airtel Digital TV. The newly added will be available to users from May 20.

Hits TV has partnered with Airtel Digital TV to bring its content to ADTV subscribers as a platform service channel called “AIRTEL HITS HD”. It is completely Ad-Free and priced at Rs 75 per month. All content on this channel will also have English subtitles.

As a launch offer, customers will get it for free for the 10 days followed by the regular price of Rs 2.5 per day. Airtel Hits HD is available on channel number 167.

This channel will showcase some of the most popular, iconic, and award-winning Hollywood television content from the 60s to the early 2000s. Airtel Digital TV aims to broadcast the best content ever produced for television in HD to its customers via this service channel.

The content lineup of Airtel Hits HD includes Different Strokes, Bewitched, Charmed, Bonanza, The Lucy Show, Baywatch, The Bionic Woman and Sherlock Holmes, and more.

The channel features a curated collection of top TV dramas and sitcoms from Hollywood and UK majors such as The Walt Disney Company, ITV Studios, Paramount, NBCUniversal, Fremantle and Sony Pictures. In future, it will expand to include more titles from other studios too.
