New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV) yesterday declared the financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2020. NDTV Group reported a profitable Q1 at Rs 7.55 crores despite the impact of coronavirus pandemic on businesses in India.

NDTV’s total income stood at Rs 74.02 crores in Q1 FY 21, down from Rs 100.2 crores revenue in the previous quarter. The total expenses stood at Rs 64.64 crores, down from Rs 89.49 crores from the previos quarter.
The net profit stood at Rs 7.55 crores, down from Rs 9.2 crores in the previous quarter due to the impact of the coronavirus. NDTV Group’s building of financial strength has led to a reduction in the group’s liabilities by 95 crores in the last two years.
The group has reversed the cut of the majority of employees who had received it on August 1. The management and other senior employees continue to work with reduced salaries.
