To comply with the amended regulatory framework (NTO 2.0) issued by the Telecom Authority of India Limited (TRAI), NXT Digital has implemented the new tariff order 2.0 effect from March 01, 2020. NXT Digital has revised the price of some curated packages downwards.
NXT Digital has reduced the price of Foundation + Mega SD Pack. Now, the pack costs Rs. 458 per month, excluding taxes. Earlier it was priced at Rs. 468 per month, excluding taxes. Foundation + Mega SD Pack includes all popular channels from Star Networks, Sony, Disney, Discovery, ZEEL, NDTV, Times Group, Turner, TV Today, BBC, Viacom 18, Epic, and NXT. The pack includes a total number of 446 channels, out of which 300 are free to air channels. However, the pack does not have any high definition channels.
NXT Digital is also offering the entire free to air channels bouquets at Rs. 130 per month, excluding taxes.
The NTO 2.0 was introduced by the Telecom Authority of India Limited in January 2020. It aims to reduce the overall monthly subscription cost of the TV channels. The NTO 2.0 allows customers to subscribe to up to 200 channels in the base Network Capacity Fee (NCF) slab of Rs. 130, and beyond 200 channels, the amount of NCF is fixed at Rs. 160 per month.
Has NXT Digital reduced the NCF for 2nd connection to 40% i.e. Rs52 as per trai order???
Cable operators got a stay on NTO 2.0 so those who notified new NCF have also not implemented it deliberately. No info there on NXT website regarding Multi TV NCF.
