Star India has reduced the price for its recently launched regional sports channel Star Sports 1 Bangla under a promotional scheme. The channel is now priced at Rs 6 per month for 90 days starting from 6th September to 4th December.
The regular price of this channel is Rs. 19 per month and this will be applicable after the expiry of the promotional scheme on December 4. It is not the first time that Star India has reduced the price of this channel, in May also the broadcaster announced a 90 days promotional period during which this channel was available at a discounted rate of Rs. 6 per month from 30th May to 27th August.
Star Sports1 Bangla is a dedicated sports channel launched on 5th May to cater to the Bengali audience. It provides curated Bengali content localized to the various franchises like Kolkata Knight Riders, Bengal Warriors, ATK, East Bengal and Mohun Bagan.
