Direct to Home (DTH) operator Sun Direct new connection offers in West Bengal, Odisha, and Maharashtra start at as low as Rs 1499 as part of a promotional offer. The new SD+ connection in West Bengal costs Rs 1499 and offers 1 month of Bengali DPO1 pack.
The update came courtesy of our community forum member Bishnu15 who noticed the advertisement on the home channel of Sun Direct. While the Sun Direct SD+ connection price starts at Rs 1799 according to the website listings, the listings on Sun Direct Facebook page reveal that it is a Welcome Offer for Maharashtra, Odisha, & West Bengal.
In the Southern states, Sun Direct SD connection starts at Rs 1799 while the HD connection starts at Rs 1999. In rest of India region, the SD connection starts at Rs 1799 while the HD connection starts at Rs 2290. The offer in West Bengal, Odisha, and Maharashtra is aimed at attracting new subscribers to Sun Direct from these regions to increase its subscriber base.
Sun Direct had back in 2018 offered new connections at as low as Rs 999 as part of a bare box offer as it expanded into West Bengal. The ‘Nomoskor Bangla’ campaign had come months before Sun Bangla launched.
Sun Direct recently added Manjari TV and Nandighosa TV on its platform strengthening its Odia offerings. The DTH operator in a tweet earlier this month stated, “For all Odia Fans, there is more coming you way!.“
