With effect from Friday, April 15, 2022, DTH operator Tata Play (formerly Tata Sky) has reduced its Binge+ hybrid Android set-top box price by Rs 300. This price revision comes a few days after the company had slashed its SD and HD STB prices by Rs 200.
The latest price is reflected on Tata Play’s website. New customers can now bring home Tata Play Binge+ at Rs 2,199, down from the Rs 2,499 price which was in place until yesterday. It comes with STB, remote, connecting cables, dish antenna and LNB. Buyers also get a 1-year warranty.
Tata Play Binge+ will continue to offer 1 month complimentary subscription to Tata Play Binge and Amazon Prime Video at no extra cost. Tata Play Binge includes premium access to Disney+ Hotstar Premium, SonyLIV, ZEE5, SunNXT, Voot Select, Voot Kids, Hungama Play, Eros Now, ShemarooMe, Docubay, CuriosityStream and Epic On.
For budget customers, Tata Play earlier had launched its cheapest Binge plan named Binge Starter pack at Rs 49 per month. This pack includes premium OTT subscriptions to 4 platforms namely Eros Now, Hungama Play, ShemarooMe, and Zee5 on up to three mobile devices.
