Tata Play reduces set-top box prices by Rs 200
The new prices are effective from April 1, 2022, and are reflected on the Tata Play website.

Pay DTH operator Tata Play (formerly Tata Sky) has dropped its price for new SD and HD connections by flat Rs 200 each in order to increase its subscribers base in the IPL season.
The new prices are effective from April 1, 2022, and are reflected on the Tata Play website. Standard Definition (SD) connection’s cost is reduced from Rs 1,699 to Rs 1,499 and the High Definition (HD) set-top box’s price is dropped from Rs 1,899 to Rs 1,699.
These are the final prices a customer has to pay for ordering a new Tata Play connection and it includes taxes, installation, STB, universal remote, HDMI or RCA cable, power adapter and outdoor unit (Dish antenna, LNB and coaxial cable).


With the new connection, users get a 1-year warranty under which Tata Play will repair or replace that component for no extra cost in case of any fault. After rebranding from Tata Sky to Tata Play, the company also waived off technical visit charges for all customers.
Previously, the company also launched a new offer for all new customers who will get Star Sports 1 (English) for free if residing in South Indian states and in other regions get Star Sports 1 Hindi for free for a month after purchasing a Tata Play connection.
