Lock-in period - removal.

There are news reports that Tata Sky has removed the Lock in Period of Satellite Channels. If this is true, it means that a customer is a Virtual Subscriber to all 500 channels. And the price? Maybe TataSky will now offer channels on a Daily Rate basis.
Anyone with any information?
