Seems all MSOs in chennai trying to sell their STBs as soon as possible
in VK stb ad , they showing, get the STB from LCOs at very low cost. (not mentioning the cost details)

TCCL packages are cheap only Rs 160/- u will get almost all channels

But sun HD channels v should pay another 130 rs bro in tccl and also in vk...even scv HD packages also high...all HD channels in sun direct they are giving @ 150rs but in scv they are charging nearly 240rs...

Yes. VK never mentions its package cost nor STB cost which seems to happily allows their LCO's to fix their own price on everything. Looks like a perfect Deepavali season for LCO's.

Check with your LCO. We cant get STB from any MSO of our choosing, only our LCO can decide which STB and MSO are available to us.

I dont think even SCV offers HD packs at Rs 240, even if they offer LCO wont give us at that price. LCO's even if they get free service from what ever MSO will collect Rs 250-300 for SD & Rs 300-350 for HD channels. Sun network HD channels could be additional.

Unless an MRP is fixed on cable tv, LCO's will continue to enjoy their Deepavali all year long like the song "Engal veetil ella naalum kaarthigai (eng: In our house, every day is the festival of lights)".
