The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has added six new auditors to the panel of auditors who will carry out the audit of Digital Addressable Systems (DAS) taking number of auditors on panel from 14 to 20.
The regulator on Monday announced the introduction of Altruist Technologies, Anil Ashok and Associates, K R Sriram and Co, Mahesh Patira and Associates, Price Waterhouse Coopers, and RDA and Associates into the panel of auditors.
3 Audit companies belong to Maharashtra, 2 to West Bengal, and one to Haryana. TRAI had in October 2019 invited proposals for the empanelment of auditors to carry out an audit of Digital Addressable Systems. In March, it amended its tender to make the empanelment process continuous making the process of empanelment carried out on a monthly basis.
