Kannadiga’s wait for Zee Entertainment’s upcoming Kannada movie channel is likely to end next month with the broadcaster today releasing its new Reference Interconnect Offer (RIO) DTH Version 2/2020 (07-02-2020) which carries Zee Picchar. The RIO which has been finalized yesterday was uploaded on the broadcaster’s website in the last few hours.
Zee Picchar will be available at Rs 3 per month excluding tax for subscribers opting the channel on an a-la-carte basis. The channel will be available in around 44 ZEEL bouquets which mainly cater to the Kannada and South market.

The broadcaster has declared three LCN slabs for Zee Picchar, Slab 1 – 1 to 4, Slab 2 – 5 to 6, and Slab 3 – 7 for DTH operators to be eligible for LCN incentive. The channel is to be placed among competing channels Star Suvarna Plus, Udaya Movies, Colors Kannada Cinema, and similar channels.
The new Reference Interconnect Offer (RIO) will be effective from 1st March 2020. Zee Picchar is likely to launch next month and could launch near Ugadi which will be observed on 25th March. As reported earlier, it is scheduled to launch in this quarter. It will bring the best of content to Karnataka with the promise of making every day a superhit day for its viewers.
With one break movie at specific slots, it also plans to air 12 Picchar premieres which will be aired on 12 consecutive days. With a massive library of around 350+ celebrated titles across genres and generations, it will look to bring families together with unmatched entertainment.
