Zee Entertainment has last week started the test run of its upcoming Bhojpuri Movie channel Ganga Biskope on the satellite. The channel is currently being aired on Asiasat 7 satellite at 105.5 East.
The channel is present on frequency 3892 V 11840. It is scrambled with Conax encryption but at the time of reporting of the news on our forums the channel was running Free to Air (FTA). Pictures of the channels shared on our forums show Movies being shown on the test run of the channel.
The name of the channel on the Satellite has been misspelled by the broadcaster as Ganga Bioscope. The broadcaster had earlier misspelled &xplor HD as & Explore HD in its test run which was later rectified. The quick launch of the test run of the channel indicates that the channel could launch near 15 November when the new RIO will kick into effect.
DreamDTH had earlier reported that ZEEL was ready to launch its Bhojpuri Movie channel Ganga Biskope shortly. Ganga Biskope will be available to a-la-carte subscribers at a nominal rate of Rs 0.1.
The channel will be available in only four bouquets namely Zee Family Pack Hindi SD, Zee All-In-One Pack Hindi SD, Zee Family Pack Hindi HD, and Zee All-In-One Pack Hindi HD. Ganga Biskope will compete with the likes of B4U Bhojpuri, Bhojpuri Cinema and Oscar Movies in the Bhojpuri market.
