Zee Entertainment Enterprises’ Zindagi channel was first launched in 2014 as a linear TV channel with its unique shows and soon became quite popular among its targeted audience. However, Zee in 2017 decided to make Zindagi a digital-only service, shutting down the TV channel.

Since then its shows were available only on Zee’s OTT platform Zee5. But now, after 5 years Zindagi channel is back on television sets as a platform service on Tata Play, Dish TV and D2H.

Availability and Pricing

Zindagi service is launched on these DTH operators on Monday, May 23. “Zindagi Active” will be available on Dish TV and D2H at LCN 117. While on Tata Play it will be called “Tata Play Zindagi” and available on LCN 154.

Zindagi service channel is priced at Rs 75 per month or Rs 2.5 per day (including GST) on all three DTH platforms. It is a 24×7 channel without any ad breaks or other interruptions found on regular satellite channels.

Dish TV and D2H customers activating this service between May 23 to June 21 will get 15 days of the free preview. While Tata Play users would get it for free for the first 10 days followed by the regular price.

Content Lineup

Zindagi service will have 65 shows and 12 movies with stories from both sides of the border- India & Pakistan. The channel will offer 4 hours of original content daily, 5-6 shows airing every month and 500 hours of new content is going to be added every year.

It will feature shows like Behadd, Humsafar, Zindagi Gulzaar Hai, Kitni Girhain Baaki Hai, and Sadqay Tumhare. There will also be exclusive behind the scenes action.
