Bharti Airtel on Monday revamped the Airtel DTH section in its online recharge app Airtel Thanks. The revamped section has been added with new features and a clean UI.

Airtel Digital TV customers can now check all the subscribed channels in the app itself. It can be filtered either by genre or region wise. It can be viewed by clicking ‘In my existing plan’ in the revamped section.

Airtel has also made the account summary more transparent. There is a proper break down of the connection cost in the app. The app lists Monthly rental of Airtel bundle, a-la-carte, broadcaster bouquet, VAS, IDV, and Network Capacity Fee for both the active selection and new selection.

Airtel customers can also remove channels they have subscribed to from the app itself. The new update has received a mixed reaction with some praising the update while some criticized the update which comes packed with certain bugs. The revamped section isn’t currently well polished and will need the flaws to be rectified to make it smooth.
