Yes we can make fun of DD promise from our past experience, but news is that they will expand it to 250 ch by 2017.

If there is wish, they can add 250 channels by 2017.

(GSAT 15 will be launched on 2015 with 24 KuBand TPs @93.5E, it is supposed to replace almost dead INSAT 4B).

All sats which will be launched by ISRO in near future are not only for DTH operators but there are other operators also like govt use , broadcasters, banks etc

So it's very hard to expand chs count

I think all series G sat 8,10,12 are failed .no hope more about it . we are heard the news , increasing channels upto 90 ,120,150,200,250,600 i last 7 years .
If they wish sincerely, they can increase the channels on tomorrow b cause . they have no restriction from the gov . but gov never take the interest on that . :angry:angry:wall
