Interestingly IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, was also founded in early August 2006. So IndiGo and Tata Play celebrate their birthdays at the same time. Both are leaders in their market but while one has always been 100% Indian from the start, the other is 100% Indian only from this year.

Do you remember the 10 Saal Jingalala campaign from Tata Sky 6 years ago? Every channel was free. Those were the last few days of the pre-Jio era. The TV market has changed so much since then.

Congratulations to Tata Play for playing endless entertainment for Indian audience for the last 16 years and many more years to come .

But entertainment with the former partner of Sky was somewhat of different level. The goodwill, reputation, fame which Tata relished, enjoyed, cherished under Sky is really to be cherished under Tata Play.
