All India Radio (AIR) has launched a classical music channel, ‘Raagam’. The satellite channel is available 24x7 on DD Bharti and DTH. Raagam is also available on All India Radio application, DD’s Free Dish and AIR website.

While launching the new venture, Prasar Bharti’s Chairman, A Surya Prakash shared in a tweet that Raagam is PRasar Bharti’s new baby and it’s a treat for connoisseurs of classical Indian music.

He also tweeted, “Launched Raagam this evening at Town Hall, Bengaluru. Congrats AIR HQ & AIR Bengaluru for making this happen!.”

The channel will include wide varieties of Hindustani and Carnatic music
