50 educational channels on dd freedish next year

Kids hardly study in shools and colleges now DD is launching 50 educational channels

I dont agree, kids are doing well and education system is slightly improving in india...

I think they will not add any Ent/ GEC/ Music channels.

Now getting 59 Ch plus 50 Edu channels coming!

So we will get 109 Ch on FreeDish!

Then why buy New STB for extended channels from March 2014 ???????????????????????????

News on today's dainik bhaskar newspaper-
Prasar bharti and Ministry of human resource sign a agreement that 50 education dth channels will be avalible from 1st may 2014.
daily live lecture atleast 9hours and 15hours documentry and repeat based prog..

Whats the use of 50 more channels as already 3-4 edu channels are not properly distributed.
It seems FD will become edu DTH if these 50 channels are added as almost 50% of channels will be then edu channels.

Each subject will get a channel to telecast lectures from premier institute. Great news. Hope they will telecast lectures from universities not only from india but from all over the world

It seems these channel addition is of no use to general viewer & may be useful only to few students. So for general viewer all things would remain as it is that means no increase in ent channels. This will again help pvt DTH & will deprive many FD customers with good ent.
Now govt should provide free FD connection to all students instead of failed Aakash tabs so that they can watch edu channels.
FD can be renamed as FreeDish Edutainment Network.

That would be great to provide free dish to students. As of now we have to go to YouTube to watch mit lectures.
