Wow! Even NGW HD. It's been a long wait. Now Travelxp HD and MTV Beats HD are pending.
Surprising that Gemini Music HD got to Airtel before TS. Not surprising for &xplor HD.

Some tend to attach too much prestige with Tata Sky, while it stands true that it has majority of niche subscriber base but airtel can try to get a stronghold there by focusing on adding more premium channels asap and market its offering properly. Do not be surprised if FYI TV18 HD hops on airtel before tata sky . Honestly in my opinion Tata Sky profit margin must have slumped post rollout of new tariff framework. Figures show that gross subscriber base is growing at healthy base but most of these new acquisitions must be coming from rural part, still no clarity what is churn rate... Changes in % of niche subscribers or how ARPU has been affected.

Anyways these r detailed debates and again i would be accused of having bias but fact is till things r delved deep ... Answers can't be put out. One thing is clear airtel wants to give a strong resistance to Jio FTTH, taking over dish d2h or improving on other fronts is part of strategy. More surprises coming our way in next few months

Are these worth addition? in my view channels like Jeet HD, Aaj Tak HD, Travel XO HD, MTV HD, And TV HD, Star Bharat HD, Times Now HD, etc. r not bringing much value to any platform. For HD channels content , transmission quality needs to be of superior standard and likes of above fall short on either or most fronts
