After doing blind scan again today, total channels on Insat 4A = 181 (Scrambled + FTA)

There is experiment for you if u can.

It remain just few months to digilisation of Cable TV (Analog). If u have analog cable tv connection / your friend have the same then try experiment as below.

make open both end of both cables (analog cable tv & blind scan receiver box cable's other end.)

bring very close cables ends of each other (take precaution it doesnt touch each other)

Now check does ur blind scan box shows any signal status? If yes then scan & please provide parameters which u got.

Just want to know about analog cable tv's parameters. I truly want to do above experiment but I dont have blind scan box.

-------------
I want to use it same like as other converts C band frequencies in KU band frequencies. Lets see if this also goes like that way. May be this possible. All analog cable tv channels are fta itself, isnt it ...

Thanks.

This experiment will not give any results. Cable TV and Satellite TV work on different frequencies and system. Cable TV uses Radio Frequency (RF) from 47MHz to 860MHz and Dish Antenna LNB uses Intermediate Frequency (IF) from 950MHz to 2150MHz.

Analog Cable TV parameters = 47MHz to 860MHz with each VLF/VHF channel 7MHz-wide and UHF channel 8MHz-wide

So no use in doing this experiment ;)

Thanks. Thats me too know.

Maybe it also need same fact like DTH. 860 to 1200 I think. If we get any extra result from that whats bad in that?
