Breaking 75th E Auction for MPEG 2 Slots

Notice inviting applications for allotment of vacant MPEG-2 slots of DD Free Dish Platform for the period from 01.04.2024 to 31.03.2025 through 6th annual e-auction (75th e-auction) process.

No changes in old channel only 4 to 5 channel winning slot ... Because all previous channel set the position in free dish any they not withdraw..so expact 4 5 new channel

As Per the Bucketwise list;

Wish to add Urdu/Pakistani channels (GEC). Because his drama represent family value, respect, devotee of god, respective love , no negative content, etc. It will show with family.

Not sure but HUM TV,ARY DIGITAL, A PLUS these are very good URDU GEC.

Kesar TV (ZEE Media) may try to enter in DDFD as Urdu regional market.


SAB Group & Shemaroo group may try to add some new channels.

Awaiting for other regional channels in Lang. of Gujrati (Highly require), South india market.

One slot is reserved as AYUSH as per MoU by PB.

Almost all channels want to continue on DD Free Dish. But it doesn't matter whether they want it or not. The thing that matters is money. If big channels like Shemaroo Bollywood, Classis, Sun Neo etc. participate then some channel will have to step back.

My expectations and probabilities
1. Star Gold Thrills will not participate.
2. Big Magic also will not participate due to Zee-Sony Merger.
3. Abzy cool and Movie Plus should not win slot in DD Free Dish because They just shows ads all day.
4. A channel of Manoranjan Group should not participate in the e-auction because all their channels show the same content.
5. Hopefully this time not many news channels will win slots.
6. This time, due to the success of Popular TV(Not in TRP, but in ads), more regional channels may participate in the auction.
7. Many important channels can participate like-
Sun neo
Shemaroo Bollywood/Classic
India ahead hindi
Raapchik
2nd rerun channels of 4 big broadcaster
Rerun channel of 4 big broadcaster(No probability as of now)
8. Some channels will participate but will not be able to take slots due to limited funds
9. Star Sports First should come on Dd Free Dish.
10. Most important, Need regular updates from Aakash Solanki bro

Surprisingly, Prasar Bharati has first announced the e-auction of MPEG-2 this time. Maybe because it takes more time. And the last date for application submission is 12th February and the auction will be held after a week from 19th February.

No need of Start Utsav, Zee Anmol, Rishtey, Soni Pal in DDFD. After they pulled his channels many new GEC entertained to DDFD user. No one missed those channels. And actually those are channels not showing uniform or continue serial on its platform. Those are channels waste the time.

Need another Existing or New GEC (Hindi/Urdu). "New Taste New Entertainment"

Don't know about Sony pal, Zee anmol, colors rishtey and star utsav. But it's confirmed that Pakistani channels can't participate in this E-auction and all next e-auctions. Urdu is kept along with Hindi mainly because Urdu and Hindi language speaking is very similar and many channels are using it as well.
