ABS1 setup on D2h Dish in Delhi area

Hello Experts,

I'm really new to this so I tried to do some experiment with it. If
you can see attached image this is what I done so far and successfully
catch all DD+ (59 channels), whereas my Videocon d2h remain at same
position and it’s also working fine.

But I was experimenting for ABS1 and couldn't found any solution for
it. I know ABS1 is easily catchable on this d2h dish. Fortunately I
got to catch DD+ channels only. I don't have any satellite finder
hence couldn't fix the LnB to right direction. If you see my image the
left side LnB is for DD+ and when I fix the same LnB to right side it
won't give me any signal for ABS1.

Can anyone guide me where should I attach the LnB (Right or Left). If
Left side LnB (dd+) is at 93.5 Degree and the middle LnB (Videocon
d2h) is at 88 degree then it probably should be on right side for ABS1
(75 degree). If it should be on right side then for what distance
(gap from middle LnB).

I only interested in ABS1 because these channels are not
watchable even on any Indian DTH provider and they are good to see and
help in knowing other country culture and life-style.

If possible can anyone form Delhi share your dish setup snapshot as you are from Delhi
as well, so I can analyze and try to fix accordingly. Also, any
strongest TP's for ABS1 which can help in auto scan.

Currently 93.5-88.00 = 5 Degree distance Using On Both LNB,
Abs1 Set On Right Side Of D2H LNB in case Left Side 93.5, D2H And ABS distance Is 12 Degree So need Double distance !
Try and share info here.......

We can use Dishtv monoblock Lnb For Reception Of DD direct with D2H ?

Really great analytical info Vikram.. definately I'll try ur steps however someone suggest me that put main LnB as ABS1 instead of d2h and side LnB should be D2h. For this, I will need realign my dish which I dont want to do that.

Hi All,

First of all many many thanks to all who supported and guided me in aligning ABS1 satellite. Just because of your valuable suggestion I effortlessly align my dish antenna toward ABS1 and able to receive 40 FTA channels.
Just quick fact about my success:
• Fixed prime LnB as ABS1 (Removed DD+ & ST1 for now)
• Used DishPointer Pro & 3D Campass Android application to align & fix the dish
• Successfully received 40 + channels in 15 mins
Just one advise from you all that I’m pretty music lover so like Music channel. Mostly I watch “Hip Hop A One” & “Europa Plus TV” however “A One” is working fine however “Europa Plus TV” signal amuse frequently. If I see signal is good 65/75%. If I try again to re-gain the signal it will definitely disturb other TP’s and probably I’ll lose other channels which I don’t want to do.
Current TP for “Europa Plus TV” 12704/ 18050 V
Can anyone help me out to fix this issue so I can see this channel in good way.
Also any other Satellite can be hunt with ABS1 as Prime setup ? and offcouse, it’s for Delhi region because all north beam are not reachable in Delhi.. Is it what I understand so far.

Checked wid DD+ its workin' but due to lack of proper bracket I couldnt hold it..... coz I dont wanna lose my english music channels I enquiry about multi lnb bracket in delhi n it will b available in few days then I will wid multiple satellite.

Vikram, can u advise any other sat with can be added in this setup ?

Yes, Europa Plus TP is weak... try to keep the signal above 60%. Once it touches 60, picture starts to freeze. :shy
Keep Europa plus TP as reference, and try to maximize its signal, the other TPs will be automatically be correctly tuned. :k
