Tuesday 5th February Børje Claesson wrote under an agreement with the Israeli company Satlink providing opportunities to send TV over satellite ABS-1, when large parts of Asia and the Middle East. The broadcasts will begin March 25 now already this year and will initially be primarily in English.
- We are very excited for this door has now opened, and that gives us a unique opportunity to reach the most populous parts of the world with the gospel. The broadcasts will be made available ahead for various cable networks in Asia, says Börje Claesson.
- Concurrent with this, we are starting a production company in Chennai, India. This company will consist of Indian personnel that we have trained both of our TV stations in Norway and Sweden and on our media education in Älmhult, Sweden.
Personnel from Channel 10 Norway comes in different ways to be involved in this effort to reach out with Christian TV. CEO Øyvind Back, traveled on Sunday 10th February down to Chinney in southeast India (formerly Madras) with a carpentry team to prepare for the program. Some applications to the new channel will also be produced from Channel 10 studios present at Bjerke in Oslo.
