Airtel new set top box made in India from my box technologies pvt ltd ( hero group).

Model no - MBSN-H412

As Indian make this box always hangs on switching on.....

Hi everyone. I upgraded my Airtel SD set top box to this HD+ set top box for Rs. 600 today. The person visited my house said the set top box need to be replaced and offered me this HD+ upgrade for Rs. 600 with one year warrenty. They activated HD upgrade TN Gold HD 30 days free top up, Recording Free Top Up, iTV combo free top up. HD channels doesnt work properly in HDMI mode. All I get is very bad distorted audio and video in HDMI mode. All channels including HD work properly in AV mode. When I tried checking the cable this new set top box emits high electric shock which could be felt very well when touched at the back and bottom. Been a customer of Airtel for 6+ years and never had any issues all these years but today it was so disappointing. Someone please tell me what can be done. My old stb never gave me any such issues for all these issues. It had a full metallic body too but never had any electric shock issue and all. My TV is a full HD Samsung TV. Please do help. Thanks in advance.

Lodge a complaint bro. They will sort it out asap. There must be defect in HDMI Cable.
