Airtel HD STB with Sun Direct SD Dish?

Thank you all for the response. unfortunately I'm confused here as I've got mixed answers.

MOLOYBORA and DAVINDER THAKUR 4K .. can you please explain why this can't be done? Is it because the sun direct dish isn't HD?

There is no HD dish and SD dish.. !!! You can use any dth dish for any dth stb.

a dish is same for hd n sd.
n it is possible bro. i have been using this. d2h with adtv dish
n d2h with adtv dish.

bro. i already told u. i do not know.
but i have been using d2h with adtv dish n vice versa.
but i paid for that. i paid 150rs. to d2h service person.
i m happy as adtv dish is better in monsoon season.
