Airtel now accepts 4 digit channel numbers

I think after the recent software upgrade, ADTV STB is now accepting 4 digit channel numbers. Soon we can some changes in the channel listing i think.

Usually when i press 500 on the remote, it will take me immediately to Sun TV. bot now when i press 500 it waits for few seconds to allow me to enter the 4th digit and then it goes to Sun TV.

I tried entering a 4 digit number (1111) and it said that the channel is not available. So it accepts 4 digits now. We have to wait and watch.

guys remember that channels we got already 10001.(5 digits) on may.

But i dont like this 4 digit LCNs. What u say?

Because from 100 to 999 they can add 900 channels, whats the need of 4th digit. :huh

well said
they have already extended their channels count by 999.
so no need for four digit. this way will be more problematic.
they should adjust the channels within three digit.

They should include option in settings and also set 4 as default people can change it to 3.

Its upgraded from 4.2 to 450.
